While many of our students have their own instruments, we understand that this isn’t always possible for every learner. It is not necessary to own a guitar before your lessons begin, however you will need regular access to one as frequent practice is essential to honing your playing skills. Whether you play acoustic, electric or bass, we can advise you on rehearsal spaces and where you can rent instruments or discuss the purchase of the most suitable guitar in your first lesson.

Whether you’re a beginner or experienced musician, there is no limit to how many guitar lessons a player should get. However, every student has different budgeting, requirements and availability needs so we recommend that every learner should try to have a minimum of one guitar lesson per week lasting at least one hour.
