To ensure a perfect match for your private music lesson, we’ll talk with parents first to gain an understanding of your expectations. In our consultation, we’ll discuss the type of music tuition you’re looking for, your child’s music level, and learning style.

We’ll then conduct a personalised search of our music teachers and provide you with a selection of musicians who meet your child’s requirements. We’re always on hand to help you make a decision and find a music teacher that fits exactly right.

Our bespoke service doesn’t stop there. We’ll stay in touch and send monthly reports of your child’s progress throughout the music tuition course.

We offer all music lessons in all instruments, and including acoustic guitar lessons in London, violin, drums and piano lessons.

Our network of music teachers is wide and our industry connections deep. And so even if you are playing a non-standard instrument, we're certain we can find music classes in your instrument of choice.

Our team of experts goes through a multi-stage vetting process when onboarding music teachers to ensure the safety and well-being of every student.

Every teacher conducting music lessons at Prelude Education has undergone a rigorous background check, where we speak to the families of their previous students and contact their named professional references.

We also interview every teacher and ensure each one holds an enhanced DBS check.

The total cost of your music lessons will depend on a few different factors.

These include the type of music tuition you’re looking for, the duration of lessons, and the experience of the teacher.

All our prices reflect the skill level and dedication of our talented music teachers, and we are committed to paying our teachers above the Musicians’ Unions guidelines.

We offer both private 1:1 music lessons at your home or online music lessons, so you can enjoy convenience and flexibility.

Some of our students, particularly students having drum lessons in London, request to have lessons in rehearsal studios, and we can help find a studio.

With our in-person and online lessons, our music teachers will arrange a time that best suits you.

For our online classes, we use a variety of specialised software and innovative teaching methods for optimised music classes.

While many of our students own or bring to their own instruments to lessons, we recognise this isn’t possible for every student.

In our detailed consultation, we can advise you where to rent the best rehearsal studios and instruments. If you're looking to for a piano studio, a piano teacher with Prelude Education may also have a studio students can use.
